Polaroid is dead, long live Polaroid! That things written off do live longer is shown with a perfect example by Polaroid. Because of their high degree of popularity the brand Polaroid has become a synonym for instant photography and instant cameras. The opening exhibition of the off-festival Vienna 2015 “Viva Polaroid!” is dedicated to the phenomenon Polaroid in all its forms and presents analog originals as well as digital imitations of the looks.
